Waterfall home destroyed

Residents of a home in Nzinga Avenue, Waterfall, were left reeling after the property caught alight on the evening of Saturday 16 June 2012.

ER24 paramedics and the Fire Department arrived on the scene and found the house engulfed in flames, with the residents and neighbours standing across the street, watching the house burn.

Firemen attacked the fire from all sides to and were eventually able to put it out. No one was sustained any injuries in the fire.

The cause of the fire will have to be investigated by the necessary authorities, all of whon were on the scene.
