Keep Kloof Beautiful Association shares a few upcoming events that we should all be attending, from fascinating talks to toe-tapping entertainment for a good cause!
Thursday 12 July, 6pm: Dr Debra Roberts, Deputy Head of Environmental Planning and Climate Protection Department from eThekwini Municipality, presents a talk on the aftermath of COP 17 and progress made, heading towards COP 18.
The talk will be held at the St Agnes Church Hall, as guest of their Environment Group. Entrance is free, and all are invited to listen to this interesting speaker, covering critical issues that relate to us all.
Friday 27 July, 5.30pm for 6pm: The Keep Hillcrest Beautiful Association invites Upper Highway residents to attend their AGM to be held in the Hillcrest Library Hall. Guest speaker is Bart Fokken from DUCT (Duzi, Umgeni CT), who will be talking on “Healthy Rivers, Healthy People”.
Sunday 29 July, 12.30pm: Lunch followed by Hits From The ’70s musical at Heritage Theatre. This is a joint fundraiser of Keep Kloof Beautiful and Kloof CPF, where, for R180, you get a fine two-course lunch and a wonderful musical. Every penny goes towards maintaining the special Kloof lifestyle we all value.
“We need your support and it is a great outing to fill a Sunday afternoon. Lucky draw prizes and special prize for best ’70s fancy dress!”
